OLPOL & CO is an interior design studio based in Dorset. The studio works on residential projects throughout the UK.

OLIVIA WHITE-HAMILTON

OLPOL & CO was founded by Olivia White-Hamilton (née Gibson Fleming) in 2020.

After a number of years working as a PA in the financial sector, Olivia decided to pursue her dream career as an interior designer and enrolled on the Inchbald Interior Architecture Diploma course. After graduating with Distinction, she worked at London based interior design firm K & H Design, starting as a Junior Designer and progressing to Senior Designer within a couple of years. At K & H Design Olivia led a variety of commercial and residential projects and gained a breadth of knowledge in the industry.

Having grown up in Dorset and spent holidays every year on the West Coast of Scotland, Olivia has a deep rooted love of the countryside and outdoors. Constantly absorbing landscapes and seascapes, she finds inspiration in the world that surrounds her and is often seen perched on a rock with a paint brush in hand. Olivia strives to design lasting interiors that are sustainable, supporting British craftsmen and sourcing materials and finishes from responsible suppliers.

Olivia is a natural creative with a love of sketching and colour. These passions are complimented by her strong technical skills and interest in interior architecture. Olivia and her team aim to deliver a very personalised interior design service, working closely with Clients to transform their homes.

CHARLES O’CONNOR

Charles O’Connor joined Olivia as a partner in the business in 2024. Charlie had for several years been practising law in London, latterly as a partner in a City firm. However, he had been designing and developing houses for several years for his own account and helping friends.

While in London, Charlie chaired the Planning Committee of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and gained a considerable understanding of the planning system for premium houses and flats, including listed buildings. So Charlie brings a very useful combination of skills to the design of houses, as he is able to advise on the planning aspects as well as the design, which are often closely interlinked.

Like Olivia, Charlie has a strong focus on the interior architecture of a project and particularly relishes being involved at the early stages of the project. Charlie splits his time between the studio in Dorset, with visits to London most weeks, and his house on Exmoor.
